The Boston Bruins are fresh off of the All-Star break and are looking to remain consistent with the momentum they had.
“Obviously the break is nice. I thought we were finding our game before the break, so we just have to start where we left off,” David Krejci told CSNNE. “It’s nice to be back in playoff position, but now we need to start climbing up in the standings.
They’ll be facing a team that is on the second-half of back-to-back games giving them an upper hand rest and energy-wise (hopefully). The Islanders are coming off of a 4-1 victory against the Rangers last night, but should still be showing plenty of signs of wear and tear for the Bruins to capitalize on.
Go Joe Bruin
In most cases, the Boston Bruins excel in games like tonight where they need to show up, come out big and excel. However, this season, they are 9-10-2 in games against teams in playoff positions, so they need to bring forward their best efforts and step things up to tackle the challenge that is securing a playoff position.

Bold Prediction:
Okay, the last time I predicted a score the Bruins lost and I wasn’t even close to the score. However, if you fail once, its always good to try once more…right? So tonight, given the Bruins hold an advantage with rest and weighing in the fact that they’ve had an extended break, I’m betting tonight’s game is close. The differential, low. I’m saying a one-goal differential needing potential overtime to be decided. All in all I’m say 2-1 Boston.
While I wasn’t correct in the outcome of the game against Colorado, I was correct in stating that Brad Marchand would give the Bruins an extra spark and try to redeem himself. Tonight, the whole team is going to want to prove that they still have what it takes to win and collectively can contend for the Cup.
