Former NHLer Jeff "ODog" O'Neill can't even watch Boston Bruins games anymore because of Fraser Minten. The co-host of TSN's daily show, Overdrive, is a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He is joined by fellow Toronto sports fan Bryan Hayes and former NHL goaltender Jamie "Noodles" McLennan, who tries to be the voice of reason for all the pro-Toronto talk.
"Pro-Toronto talk" might not be the most accurate statement, as the trio has no problem bashing the Maple Leafs for all their playoff shortcomings and the daily controversy that surrounds the team. While the show is meant for Toronto sports fans, it can also be a source of enjoyment for haters of the Maple Leafs who live North of the border, especially Bruins fans.

The trio was at it again on Wednesday afternoon after Minten's two-goal game on Tuesday night against the San Jose Sharks. With the Leafs dropping their Frozen Frenzy matchup against the Utah Mammoth, it was the perfect storm for the oft-disgruntled fans to voice their displeasure about the Toronto-Boston front-office dynamic.
Hayes made a tongue-in-cheek comment that the Maple Leafs' ownership should mandate that their front office no longer make a deal with the Bruins. You can't really blame Toronto fans for having that opinion, as it certainly looks like the Minten-for-Carlo deal is going to be an epic fleecing, even if the first-round pick that the Bruins also own doesn't turn into a stud player.
Bruins-Maple Leafs worst trades
Hayes believes the trade has the potential to be the worst one between the two teams, which is really saying something when you think back to some of the other fleecings. My vote would be the Tuukka Rask-for-Andrew Raycroft trade, which gave the Bruins stability in their crease for the next decade and a half and also led to three playoff series wins for Boston over Toronto with him as the starter.
The Phil Kessel trade also makes a case, as the Bruins acquired two first-round picks and a second-round pick for their former first-round pick. Kessel was a good player for Toronto, but those picks turned into Tyler Seguin and Dougie Hamilton. Those players didn't become superstars in Boston, but the Leafs have been chasing a defender like Hamilton ever since.
While mandating no trades with a certain organization is a bit outlandish, the Overdrive crew may have a point with this one. The piece de resistance for the entire segment was Hayes' closing remarks, which Bruins fans might want to print off and hang on their wall:
"[Bruins] have destroyed the Leafs for 15 years on the ice and they have embarassed their front office for 20 years off the ice. The Raycroft-for-Rask, the Kessel deal, and the Minten deal are three of the worst deals in franchise history. "Lifelong Maple Leafs fan, Bryan Hayes
