When the Boston Bruins traded Brad Marchand at the trade deadline back in March, it was a gut-punch to fans. If trading him wasn't bad enough, general manager Don Sweeney traded him to the Florida Panthers. The move paid off in South Florida after the Panthers won their second straight Stanley Cup.

Marchand re-signed with Florida in the offseason to finish his career there. There was some hope within the fan base that he would come back to Boston in free agency, but that door was closed long before free agency began. Marchand ended up signing with the Panthers before free agency began.

Fans will always remember Marchand's time in Boston as a player who loved to get under the skin of his opponents. He was someone who not only got under the skin of his opponents, but he would also cross the line sometimes and face disciplinary action from the NHL.

As time went on, he put himself in those positions less and less, but he never missed an opportunity to get under the skin of an opponent. All of his time doing that caught up with him in a recent players' poll.

Former Bruins captain Brad Marchand has second-most punchable face in the NHL

In an anonymous NHL player poll, the three top-most punchable fans were revealed, and Marchand came in at No. 2, and teammate Matthew Tkachuk was third. Nick Cousins of the Ottawa Senators came in first with 24.3% of the vote.

Marchand coming in second is a little bit surprising, given how he has tormented the league for years, getting under his opponents' skin. Bruins fans loved it when he was getting under the skin of the opponents, while fans of the other teams couldn't stand him. I'm sure Florida fans are seeing a different side of Marchand and liking it now. It's not surprising that Marchand was on this list; surprisingly, he came in at No. 2.
