Hey Bruins fans! My name is Jay Peterson and I have been a fan of the Boston Bruins since 2003. Don't hate me, but I was originally a Toronto Maple Leafs fan because that is my father's team. My favourite player was Felix "the Cat" Potvin.When Potvin was traded, to make room for Curtis Joseph, I was so devastated and upset with the Maple Leafs that I decided to follow Felix to every team he went to. This led to me being a big fan of the Los Angeles Kings from 2000-2003.Then, in September of 2003, Felix Potvin was signed by the Boston Bruins and I became a fan. When the lockout happened, that spelt the end of Potvin's career. After Felix retired, I had to decide if I wanted to remain a Bruins fan, go back to the Maple Leafs, or Kings, or choose a completely new team. I chose to stay with the Boston Bruins and, unless Felix Potvin comes back out of retirement, I will be a Boston Bruins fan for life!
