Brandon Croce

Brandon Croce is a contributor across multiple FanSided NHL sites and has been writing about and covering several sports for close to 15 years. He has had his work appear on Bleacher Report, Sports Illustrated, and Scout with radio appearances on ESPN and SiriusXM.

Brian Germinaro

Brian Germinaro is a contributor at Rising Apple and NHL Rover for FanSided. He's been writing and covering sports since 2020. He graduated from Siena College in 2024 with a degree in Sports Communication and Journalism. He also contributes to Belly Up Sports, covering Fantasy Football and Notre Dame Football. As well as co-host the Third and Ten and Belly Up Fantasy podcast.

Julianna DeGray

Julianna DeGray is a Contributor to Causeway Crowd, the place for Boston Bruins news and stories. An avid lifelong Bruins fan, Julianna has always loved the game of hockey since the duo of Tuukka Rask and Tim Thomas. Just getting into her sports writing career, Julianna has her own Substack under the name Sports With Jules. Having worked for the Springfield Thunderbirds, her love of hockey has stemmed to her full-time job. She has attended a game near her birthday every year since 2018. When she is not watching hockey, she can be found crocheting or working on her first novel.

Karie Peters

Karie has been your Fansided Boston Bruins contributor to Causeway Crowd since November 2024, covering stories from the centennial team. An avid Bruins fan, she is a travel nurse who relocated to the East Coast, allowing her easy access to her favorite team. After attending multiple games, she was hooked, and soon discovered writing for this original six team has become her passion. Karie is now a Bruins Season Ticket Holder and a published author, so whenever the Bruins aren't playing, she balances her work life and family life with creating more books for publication.

Kyle Benson

Kyle Benson is a contributor to Causeway Crowd, providing articles on the 100-plus year history of the Boston Bruins franchise and takes on the team today. He has been writing about hockey for 15 years for different outlets and teams. Kyle has previously contributed Bruins and Anaheim Ducks articles for The Hockey Writers, and has written for Cardiac Cane on the FanSided Network.

Patrick Keep

Patrick Keep is a current Contributor for Causeway Crowd, writing about various topics about the Bruins including current news, prospects, opinion pieces, and other miscellaneous topics that he finds interesting. He is a student at the University of New Hampshire, studying Economics, and has been a fan of the Bruins since his old Zdeno Chara jersey was too long to fit his arms fully through. He is native to Plymouth, MA, but recently moved to Cape Cod with his family. When he isn't viewing his team, he enjoys exercising, spending time with friends on campus, and writing as a hobby.

Ryan O'Hara

Ryan O’Hara is a five-time award-winning sportswriter and currently writes about the NHL across multiple sites. O’Hara is also a member of the Boxing Writers Association of America and the International Boxing Hall of Fame voting committee. He has been featured in the past on ESPN, Yahoo Sports, and The Ring Magazine. O’Hara grew up a fan of both the Colorado Avalanche and the Detroit Red Wings, as well as his home team, the now-defunct Arizona Coyotes.

Seth Helman

Seth is a Contributor to Causeway Crowd. He began writing about hockey during his studies at Boston University, where he started his career as a Play-by-Play Broadcaster. His first job in hockey was in the Broadcasting and Communications department for the Detroit Red Wings during the 2023-24 season. His broadcasting was featured on ESPN+ at BU and he can now be found on FloSports and Black Bear TV broadcasting for the USPHL and NE10. Feel free to ask about his odd sports allegiances (Bruins/Patriots/Mets/Knicks) and engage him in conversation on all things Star Wars.

Shamus Sullivan

Shamus is a Contributor to Causeway Crowd, delivering in-depth coverage of the Boston Bruins. With experience as a rinkside reporter, writer, and color commentator for Hockey Night in Boston. A lifelong Bruins fan, Shamus was in the Garden for the epic 2013 Game 7 comeback against Toronto, living the highs and lows alongside fellow fans. When not immersed in hockey, he’s out swinging clubs on the golf course.

Scott Roche is a sports journalist who has covered college and professional sports for nearly two decades. Scott has worked for daily newspapers as well as various websites. Scott has written for Call to the Pen and Friars on Base on the FanSided network as well as The Hockey Writers.

Scott Rogust

Scott Rogust is a staff writer for FanSided, covering NFL, NHL and professional wrestling. He previously wrote for 12UP and Double G Sports. Scott graduated from Rutgers University-Newark with a major in journalism and minor in biology. He is a New York sports fan who has not felt joy since the Rangers made it to the Stanley Cup Final in 2014. Scott has a vast knowledge of professional wrestling trivia and will understand any reference from "The Simpsons."

Todd Matthews

Todd Matthews ran Sabre Noise and Raising Zona under the pen name Sion Fawkes between 2022 and 2024 before he switched his full focus to the NHL. A lifelong hockey fan, Todd now covers the entire NHL at FanSided as a staff writer, and he is always happy to write about the league’s current happenings and its history. When he’s not writing about hockey, Todd is often found working out either in the gym or running on trails.
