The NHL announced several more updates to the 2021 NHL schedule and three games for the Boston Bruins were included in the latest round of updates.

The Bruins home game on March 7 was originally supposed to be against the Philadelphia Flyers, but that has been postponed to accommodate a Boston makeup game from earlier this month against the New Jersey Devils at 5 p.m. The Bruins and Flyers will make up the originally scheduled game at the TD Garden on April 5 at 7 p.m.

A game against the Flyers that was postponed during the changing in the schedules will be made up on April 10 at 2 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. The final makeup involving the Black and Gold was their game with the New York Islanders on April 14 was pushed back a day to the 15th at 7 p.m.

Bruins odds and ends from their victory over the Flyers at Lake Tahoe.

The Bruins improved to 3-1 in outdoor games with their 7-3 rout of the Flyers Sunday night at Lake Tahoe, Nevada in what was one of their most complete games of the season. It had other interesting numbers both on the ice and on TV.

First off, NBC announced that the Bruins win at Lake Tahoe was the most-watched NHL regular-season game in NBCSN history and was the first game to pass 1 million viewers. Not too bad for a Sunday night primetime audience.

Trent Frederic joined in the four-goal, second-period scoring barrage with his first NHL goal. The 23-year-old became the third player to score his first career goal in an outdoor game. Frederic scored the second of three goals in a 99-second span on a wrist shot from the top of the right circle.

The 29th pick in the first round of the 2016 Entry Draft has been a good addition to the bottom-six forwards through the first 16 games this season.

This season, the Bruins are 5-0 against the Flyers, winning in just about every way possible. They have won in overtime, in a shootout, a one-goal game, and a five-goal victory in their first four games.

Sunday night, the Bruins scored a season-high seven goals against Philly, and in the process, they tied an outdoor-game record with those seven goals. Six of the goals were scored at even-strength, which has been an issue early in the season for Boston. They entered the game with a plus/minus (+/-) of minus-1, which must be fixed if they want to hold onto first place in the East Division.
