With the regular season beginning in 10 days, the Boston Bruins announced the start times for all 56 games this season.

A couple of weeks ago, the Boston Bruins released their 2020-21 schedule. With the new realigned division to cut down on travel because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Bruins will play all of their games in the Eastern time zone, except for a game at Lake Tahoe, Nevada in February against the Philadelphia Flyers.

On Monday, the Bruins officially released the times for their games and fans will like the times. With no travel West of Pennsylvania except for the Feb. 21 game at Lake Tahoe, the latest start time on the Balck and Gold’s schedule is 8 p.m. on Feb. 3 at Philadelphia.

Boston will play 42 games that begin at 7 p.m. and eight-afternoon matinees that begin at either 1 or 3 p.m. They have two games that will start at noon, Feb. 28 at the New York Rangers and April 18 at TD Garden against Zdeno Chara and the Washington Capitals. It is the second of two trips that the Caps will make in 2021.

They have one 5 p.m. start is their third game of the year on Jan. 18 at the New York Islanders and their lone 5:30 p.m. start is March 28 at the TD Garden against the New Jersey Devils. Their lone 7:30 p.m. start time is Feb. 6 at home against the Buffalo Sabres.

The game against the Flyers at Lake Tahoe on “Outdoor Weekend” will begin at 3 p.m. and broadcast on NBC.

One good thing about the games being played on the East Coast this season is that Bruins fans won’t have to stay up late to watch the Black and Gold play. No more 10 or 10:30 games is a plus in 2021.
