Boston Bruins stud David Pastrnak was in the giving mood this holiday season, gifting his All-Star MVP prize to a Boston nurse and single mother.

David Pastrnak warmed the hearts of Boston Bruins fans and hockey fans alike when he gifted a Honda CR-V to a local Boston nurse and single mother who has been working through the coronavirus pandemic from the start. Pastrnak also gifted a jersey and hockey gear to her four-year-old son.

Kaitlin Hagstrom was so grateful and taken by surprise when what she thought was a performance review turned out to be a special video call from David Pastrnak and a brand new CR-V in the parking lot. Pastrnak thanked her for her work at Tufts Medical Center during the pandemic and talked about how much respect he has for single mothers as he was raised by a single mother himself.

David Pastrnak has grown as a player and a man during his time with the Boston Bruins. Pastrnak is an active member of the community and grown as a great leader for the Bruins organization. Pasta will be an early favorite for the ‘A’ and maybe eventually the ‘C’ as the Bruins core starts to change.

David Pastrnak season outlook for the Boston Bruins

David Pastrnak will, unfortunately, begin the season on the injured list watching from the press box. A right hip injury that was nagging him during the NHL Bubble Playoffs put Pastrnak under the knife on Sept. 16. This lines Pasta up for a mid-February return, unfortunately meaning he’ll miss at least a month of action.

The Perfection Line will be leaned on heavily again this season unless Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has any major tricks up his sleeves with no firepower being acquired through free agency or trade. That along with an insanely stacked East Division makes for a tough season ahead for this Boston Bruins team.

Next. Bruins are favorites to win the East Division. dark

David Pastrnak will have to quickly return to Rocket Richard form if the Boston Bruins are to compete with the East Division’s best (which is most of them). To even make the Conference Finals the Bruins will have to be firing on all cylinders. Bruins fans should know for a fact that Pasta will be ready to roll when the time comes and continue to be one of the league’s best.
