After losing 4-1 to the Florida Panthers on Saturday, the Boston Bruins look to get back on track when they take on the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday.

Luckily for the Boston Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs also lost on Sunday to the Ottawa Senators, so the Leafs chances of winning home ice advantage are getting slimmer and slimmer.

Lets take a look at the Boston Bruins matchup with the Detroit Red Wings.

Tale of the Tape

More from Bruins News

The B’s are six points ahead of the Leafs with four game to go during the regular season. The Bruins’ loss to the Panthers on Saturday was their second loss in their past three games.  Luckily though, the Boston Bruins will get some more help on the defensive end with Kevan Miller returning to the lineup on Sunday.

The Red Wings have won their past four straight, and are also winners in their last six of seven games. They took down the New Jersey Devils on Friday night 4-0 and look to follow up that performance against Boston.

The Red Wings are extremely banged up with injuries and the Boston Bruins have a great opportunity to solidify their second place spot in the Atlantic.
