After having a dominant December, the Christmas season has not been kind to the Boston Bruins. With only two games this week and only one left in the year 2015, look for Claude Julien to try anything to get his team back on track in time for their biggest game of the regular season thus far.

Bruins v Senators
Boston may be without both Torey Krug and David Krejci in the coming week which will obviously put them at a disadvantage in this game. It would be very disappointing if both of these Bruins were to miss the Winter Classic matchup against the Montreal Canadiens as well, so, chances are, both players will miss this game at the very least.
The Bruins just lost to this Senators team and, although losing a potential two games in row to a division rival should motivate any team to bring their best effort, I believe that the Senators will steal another two points from the Bruins. Look for another close game and a Bruins team that will look better than what they have recently shown, but will be without key roster members Torey Krug and David Krejci. I see the Senators winning in similar fashion to the last game, with a score of 4 to 2.
Bruins v Canadiens
As said before, the Boston Bruins have quickly become an injured group, but, with Carey Price still out of the lineup, the Montreal Canadiens are not at the top of their game either. This game will be legendary no matter who steps onto the ice, but missing such big names from both teams will certainly change the dynamic.

Montreal has not been playing like the team that everyone saw come out of the gate in October. It was believed, a week ago, that the Bruins would be riding a much better streak going into this game, but after three straight losses, and possibly another one against Ottawa, that ship has sailed. So, it seems that both teams will be going into this game fairly cold.

This game is going to have a lot of mistakes and a lot of passion which could lead to good and bad things for both teams. I want this game to come down to goaltending because Tuukka Rask is on right now and Mike Condon is not. Boston needs to stay in the game and not get let down about anything else that goes on. I have felt good about this game ever since the Bruins won their most recent game against the Canadiens, so I am going to say Bruins win with a final score of 3 to 2.

The Eastern Conference and the Atlantic Division remain very tight. Any team could take the lead and any team could find themselves falling back. The Boston Bruins are playing the two main teams that they want to be ahead of. The fact that these are the only two games this week is a great thing for the Bruins, so hopefully they can capitalize on that.
