The jerseys have a very “classic” feel to them, using a modified version of the Bruins original jerseys from the 1924-25 season, simply changing the colors from the brown, beige, and gold, to the current Bruins colors of black and gold. The Bruins are set to take on their long-time rivals the Montreal Canadiens, who have yet to release images of what their jerseys will look like.

The Winter Classic is set to take place at the home of the New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and it will be the first time the Winter Classic game is played between these two clubs. The last time the Boston Bruins played in a Winter Classic game was in 2010 when the Bruins hosted the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park. This Winter Classic will feature one of the longest rivalries in sports clashing in what is sure to be one of the most highly anticipated Winter Classic games in history, as well as one of the most highly anticipated games of the regular season. The NHL announced earlier in the year that there would be an alumni game the day prior to the Winter Classic which would feature old-time Bruins and old-time Canadiens players competing once again.
The Bruins will be dressing a much different team than the last time they played in a winter classic as only Zdeno Chara, Tuukka Rask, David Krejci, and Patrice Bergeron participated in the last winter classic. The current Bruins team is still looking for their first win in Boston at the Garden, while the Montreal Canadiens are off to blazing start to their season. The game appears to be featuring two teams heading on opposite directions, but anything can happen by the time January rolls around, and the Bruins should be up to the task.
