The Boston Bruins have announced their roster for this season’s training camp. In all, sixty players were selected. (33 forwards, 20 defensemen, and 7 goaltenders) The Bruins will start with off-ice testing for all players tomorrow morning. (Let’s hope the Bruins’ first round draft picks pass the testing this time around.) This means it’s finally the official unofficial start of the Boston Bruins 2015-16 season!

The Bruins will have to find the right combination of players this season. Last season saw the Bruins miss their first playoff berth in eight years to a series of injuries and miscues. Now in order to get back on track, the B’s organization will really need to pick the best possible players (especially on defense) this season.
The list below reads like a who’s who for both the Boston Bruins and the Providence Bruins. Several of the Providence players will be fighting for some of the open spots on the roster. They’ll also be competing against the new talent brought in by Don Sweeney and company during the offseason. It will certainly be interesting to see if the B’s recent acquisitions (like Matt Irwin and Colin Miller) can make this season’s roster.
Here are the players who were invited to the Boston Bruins 2015-16 Training Camp:

Once the Bruins get done with their testing, several of them (mainly the Bruins’ captain and alternate captains) will be set up for a grilling by the fans.
Tomorrow night, the Boston Bruins will have a town-hall meeting open to its’ season ticket holders. The annual ‘State of the Bruins’ meeting will certainly be more contentious then it has been in previous years. Those fans will certainly want to bring Cam Neely, Don Sweeney, and even Zdeno Chara to book for the Bruins failure to make the playoffs last year.
