The Bruins will be taking on the Florida Panthers and Tim Thomas tomorrow night at the TD Garden. The Bruins know they need to play strong from start to finish, and with Thomas in net, there is no guarantee that the Bruins will just take the two points in Boston.

Shawn Thornton will be bringing himself and his brother Bruins to the seventh annual ‘Cuts for a Cause’. It will be at Boston Park Plaza, and it will go from 3:30 – 5:30 (The doors will open for VIP ticket holders at 2:30). Proceeds from this event will benefit the Shawn Thornton Foundation, Boston Bruins Foundation and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Come by, meet some Bruins, watch them get their heads shaved, and know the money is going to a good cause. (Boston Bruins)

The trade line is Wednesday, and the media is in full blown frenzy on where (it’s safe to say it’s no longer an “if”) the Bruins will make the trade. With Peter Chiarelli saying he would like to see eight defensemen going into the post season the Bruins are going to need to make one (if McQuaid remains hurt) or two big moves before the deadline. So, who will move, who will become a Bruin, and how much money will the Bruins use to get themselves where they want to be. Bruins alumni Lyndon Byers took a stop by WEEI in Boston to discuss what kind of move the Bruins need to make quickly. (WEEI)

When it comes to the trade deadline, some teams are buyers like Boston. It’s currently a sellers market, and even teams who already eliminated are looking to make the best deals possible. One of those teams having a ‘burn it all fire sale’ mentality is the Buffalo Sabres. We take a look at what a horrendously bad idea it is for the Bruins to shop at the ‘Buffalo Discount Defenseman’ store. (Causeway Crowd)
