The Boston Bruins are doing a three game road trip throughout California, starting tonight against Anaheim. This will be one of the toughest stretches for the Bruins, as they are taking on the very best in the Western Conference. Joe Haggerty from Comcast thinks they’re ready. The Bruins will have a tough time cracking the Ducks’ eggs tonight. Coming into tonight’s match against the Black and Gold, Anaheim is looking at an 18-0-2 home record. It’s going to take every last ounce of cunning and skill to get the B’s to pull out two points tonight in California, especially with Milan Lucic as a last minute scratch due to illness. (NHL)

Team Canada announced its Olympic roster for the 2012 Sochi Olympics. For the Boston Bruins, only Patrice Bergeron was selected for Canada. Adding Bergeron to the mix, the Bruins will have members on five different teams this time around. The chances of the Black and Gold seeing some gold in Sochi is pretty high. (Causeway Crowd)

Every once in a while, a NHL player gets to be injured and still gets a chance to play the here.  Tonight, Philadelphia Flyers’ center Brayden Schenn had some bad luck against the New Jersey Devils.
