The Boston Bruins repeated their performance over the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight, beating them 3-1 at the TD Garden. It was a solid, all around sixty minute performance by the Black and Gold as they took command of the game early, and never let go. It was one of their best performances this season. Milan Lucic scored twice and earned his team leading tenth and eleventh goals in a first star performance. Read about the Bruins win from the mouths of the Bruins themselves, (Boston Bruins)

For contrast, here is what the fellows over in Columbus had to say about their team’s performance last night. When the team’s own web site things the game a disaster you know it’s going to be an interesting read. (Columbus Blue Jackets)

The folks over at Comcast take a look at the game themselves, and focus on the hero of the hour, Milan Lucic. In a post game interview with the media, Lucic was talking about the two goals scored tonight, he attributed to his goals to “puck luck”. Read about his game, and what his fellow Bruins thought about his performance. (CSNNE)

Brian Boyle was crazy (or stupid enough) to try and fight Zdeno Chara in Chara’s Gordie Howe on Friday afternoon. Boyle was pulled out of that fight before Chara could do serious damage to him, and when he tried to take on a smaller opponent, this time Vancouver Canucks’ Kevin Bieksa he was embarrassed as the refs had to pull his opponent off him again. Boyle has not had a good two games, but thankfully the Rangers beat the Canucks 5-2. Here’s how the fight went down, and here’s how Bieksa handled himself. (It’s not often I will cheer for a Canucks player, but this guy earned the stick tap.) (Puck Daddy)
