The Bruins released their latest video today. There were several good things to take from it. The first was seeing how well the Merlot Line has been doing the last few games, and how their production has helped the Bruins offense. Second, the Bruins showed off the depth of their system by highlighting recently called up d-man Kevan Miller. Next, it showed the Bruins taking a positive out of their full sixty minute game with the Blues, and finally we got to see Adam McQuaid practicing with the Bruins. This signals his return to the line up any day now. (Boston Bruins)

Indeed, the only player that did not participate in today’s practice was injured defenseman Dennis Seidenberg. There is no set date for his return, but it does not appear to be that serious for the veteran blueliner. Read more about the practice here: (CSNNE)

The folks at Bleacher Report have made a list of the players that have most surprised people so far in the 2013-14 NHL season. One of the Bruins made the cut. Find out which Bruin made the list and why here. (Bleacher Report)

With ex-Bruin who has had a on-and-off season is current Toronto Maple Leafs forward Phil Kessel. Our coworkers over at Editor in Leaf take a look at his recent performance and ask the question if Kessel should be playing as much time as he has? (Editor in Leaf)

Gustav Nyquist is in the same boat with the Detroit Red Wings. Another quality player having a questionable season, and what can be done or will get done to help him fix that? (Octopus Thrower)
