It appears the Bruins have escaped a major problem on the blue line. Defenseman Johnny Boychuk has been diagnosed with a mild knee sprain and will be day to day.I assume we will not see him until the playoffs start with plenty of bodies available. In other injury news, Tuukka Rask has been skating for a couple weeks but has yet to be involved in a practice. The B’s are keeping quiet whether or not he will be ready for the beginning of round one, or if Anton Khudobin will backingTim Thomas until Rask is 100%. Nathan Horton has also resumed skating, working out with Rask before the team practice’s this week at Ristuccia. He has just been skating, not doing any drills and “is still not close” according to Claude. Bruins will faceoff with Ottawa tonight. Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas, and Johnny Boychuk will remain in Boston. Stop back here after the game for post game discussion.
