Marc Savard has been diagnosed with a grade two concussion following a hit from Matt Cooke on Sunday. There is no timetable for his return, but it certainly didn’t look good. In my opinion, it was a questionable hit and I felt it was definitely dirty. According to Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Cooke has “reached out” to Savard following the incident. It will be interesting to see how the league handles this.
