Reports from the Boston Globe are that Dennis Wideman (upper body) and Derek Morris (undisclosed) missed practice today. Wideman was later spotted working out on the ice with the strength and conditioning coach, and both are expected the practice tomorrow. They will presumably be ready to go when the Maple Leafs visit Thursday.
In Saturday’s 7-2 win over Toronto, Wideman logged 15:42 of ice time while Morris had a team-high 23:07. Neither injury should be seen as more than rest for sore bodies.
