The Boston Bruins are getting geared up for their next game. They’ll be finishing up this mini road trip by taking on the New York Islanders tomorrow night at the Nassau Coliseum. The Islanders have gotten the better of the Bruins in their first two match ups, and the Bruins will need to be playing at the top of their game in order to reverse the trend. Thankfully, the Bruins have been playing to the top of their game these last few games. Read about what the Bruins are going to do here: (Boston Bruins)

The Bruins aren’t sure if Chris Kelly is ready to go for tomorrow night’s game. He was a game time decision against the Flyers, and it make come down to a last second call again tomorrow night. Check out what Claude Julien has to say about his third line center here: (Causeway Crowd)

The Islanders on the other hand do not seem to occupied with their upcoming match against the Black and Gold. It appears their focus is leaning towards Wednesday’s game against the New York Rangers. In their defense, it is the Islanders opportunity to play a part in the Stadium series. Check out what plans they are making here: (New York Islanders)

The Bruins are still looking for a defenseman to fill out their roster and add extra insurance for their team. The biggest problem for the Black and Gold is that pickings are slim. They want someone at a discount, not have a long term contract, and be able to adapt to a defensive minded game from day one. Factor in those needs, and they are indeed quite limited. Joe Haggerty has done some research, and might have someone that fits all those needs. Find out who it is here: (CSNNE)

To wrap it up today, I thought I’d offer our Bruins fans just a lovely little piece of hockey porn. Tuukka Rask was certainly on his game against the Flyers, and I offer up this little piece of his best save of the night against Philadelphia. Here it is B’s fans, take it in and enjoy. (NESN)
