Tomorrow afternoon the Boston Bruins play the Chicago Blackhawks. A lot of people think it will be treated like a Stanley Cup game. Personally, while I think the two points this game represents is important, I’ve made my peace with those ugly seventeen seconds in game six of last year’s Stanley Cup Finals. For the Bruins, they’ve moved on too. Tomorrow’s game is about preserving the lead in the Atlantic Division. Here is what the Bruins captain, Zdeno Chara has to say about it. (CSNNE)

The Bruins are ready to play though. The last time they played our hearts were broken. The Black and Gold still look forward to a great Original Six matchup tomorrow afternoon. (Boston Bruins)

The Chicago Blackhawks are just as excited to play us as we are to play them. They see it the same way the Bruins do. It’s two important points for their team as they head past the mid-season. (Chciago Blackhawks)

OK, I’ve got to include this one. An ode to a former Bruin, Rich Peverley. The SB Nation Choir sings “Raptor Jesus”. Yes, this will never win a Grammy for the singing,(it’s pretty bad) but it’s blood amusing nevertheless. The lyrics are outstanding though. (SB Nation) They would also like to remind us that it has been exactly one game since a Bruins player has been injured.

Remember when the Vancouver Canucks were a hack team that couldn’t cut in a clutch game? Yes, we still do. So, enjoy the line brawl they instigated against the Calgary Flames and see how far the mighty have fallen. (YouTube)
