Reilly Smith has been a boon for us since we got him as part of the ‘Eriksson-Seguin’ trade on July 4th. Reilly Smith is currently third in overall points on the Bruins with ten (two goals) “You go through little streaks. It’s not like I wasn’t doing anything before. The folks at NBC Sports take a look at the Bruins-Panthers game last night. The Bruins won easily in a 4-1 decision, and the Boston faithful got to pay their respects to goalie emeritus Tim Thomas. See their take on the game and Tim Thomas here: (NBC Sports Network)

We saw the refs blow that call against Jesse Winchester after he nailed Chris Kelly in the head. It looks like the guys at the Department of Player Safety saw it, and they’ll have something to say about it. It looks like Winchester will get one or two games fort that illegal hit, hostile intent or not. (CSNNE)
