The crew over at Puck Daddy take a look at the entire disaster that is the Buffalo Sabres franchise. They argue that the entire club is a mess from the players all the way to the owners and it’s all the fault of one man. The person they blame for the Sabres collapse is Milan Lucic .(Puck Daddy)

In one of those odd moments that even the hockey gods can’t understand, the Philadelphia Flyers send their best scoring player on their team, Tye McGinn down to the minors. Just when you thought that the Buffalo Sabres organization had the corner on confusing plays, the Flyers show their just as committed to self-destruction. (CSNPhilly)

“You know what, every time somebody is hit now we quickly run to the video and we analyze – was it legal, was it illegal? It’s a hard game, and it’s played by hard players that have to get involved physically night in and night out. They have to take some lumps, too. We have to give some lumps, we have to take some lumps. If it’s dirty, I think it should be severely dealt with. If it’s hard hockey, then so be it.” – Sharks head coach Todd McLellan.

During last night’s Bruins 2-1 win over the Sharks Zdeno Chara got off a couple of hi-sticks that weren’t called by the refs. Those who were at the bar with me watching the game saw my reaction to them and offered something akin to “Chara, you can’t be hi-sticking in a game this [pick an expletive you like] close!” I thought Chara was going to get sin bin time for either of those hits. (I’m frankly surprised that he didn’t. I’m a Bruins fan, but I will bring a Bruin to task for a bad hit.) Our friends at Too Many Men on the Site ask the question ‘Should Chara be suspeneded?’ (TMMOTS)
