Bruins Shawn Thornton Hosting His Annual “Cuts For A Cause” Charity Event

Shawn Thornton and 98.5 the Sports Hub will be hosting their 6th annual “Cuts for a Cause” charity event on Monday, April 1st from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Royale Boston. Thornton and other Bruins will have their heads shaved by auction winners for charity.

For those that have never attended, it’s a great event and one of the rare opportunities where fans get to rub shoulders with some of their favorite players.

All proceeds benefit the Shawn Thornton Foundation, Boston Bruins Foundation and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, so you can have a good time while doing something positive for the community. Sounds like a win/win to me!

There’s two ways to get your foot in the door at this event. You can purchase VIP tickets for $100 and that gets you your own private seating area with a chance to mingle with the players. Not to mention it gives you early access , allowing you to enter a full hour before the doors even open.
